Ko Samui has a charming little airport, engulfed in its paradise nature reality. There are various gardens, plants and a stream that runs thru this open-air airport. Before we get to the Blue Ribbon Lounge in Samui Airport (USM), let’s have a look around the airport.
Around Samui Airport Domestic Terminal, Thailand
The festive tiki straw roofs and open air feature of the Domestic Terminal lead to the biggest benefit of the Blue Ribbon Lounge, air-conditioning. Which I visited using a Priority Pass Select card, a dope addition to my travels this time around.
In the photographic above you can see the waiting area for our gate. There were some small fans around for those without lounge access.
Blue Ribbon Lounge – Samui Airport Domestic Terminal, Thailand
Check-in with Priority Pass was seamless, which allowed for two free guests, in addition to myself. The greeting was warm and we quickly went about to enjoying the lounge.
- Hours: 05:00 – 22:00 daily
- Location: Airside – Domestic Departures. After Security Checks, the lounge is located on the left hand side between Gates 2 and 3.

Food at Blue Ribbon Lounge
The fare was light here, mostly snacks and a waffle maker. The big plus were the free coconuts on order! I repeat, order a coconut and hydrate. They have a drink menu around and beers available. There’s also a cafe machine for lattes and espresso shots, as well as tea, including dry ginger herbal tea.
Amenities at Blue Ribbon Lounge
There was plenty of space and light colored airy furniture around. The was a flat screen TV and community computer for use, as well as the standard free WiFi. A big bear oversaw the room and greeted visitors.
