Siem Reap has a nice international airport, smaller but comfortable. On a flight from Seam Reap (REP) to Hanoi, I had the delightful chance to stop by the Plaza Premium Lounge.
We’ll start things off with a few photographs from around Siem Reap Airport. There seemed to be enough choices to eat, shop, admire art and relax in air conditioning within the general airport.
Around Siem Reap Angkor International Airport

Arriving to the airport, which is only 15 minutes from downtown Seam Reap, at around 2:15pm for a 6pm flight. Once through security and after circling briefly around the main airport, we made it to Plaza Premium Lounge. It was a treat for our 5:15pm boarding time, 3 hours to relax and unwind again before Hanoi.

The lounge is located in the International Terminal and fairly easy to find once thru security. It’s tucked back in it’s own corner after you pass the outdoor statue garden.
Entry with my Priority Pass Select card was a brief, came with up to two additional guests. The lounge was the nicest yet that’ve I’ve visited on the priority pass so far, although this is only like the 5th one.
- Hours: 05:00 – 01:00 daily
- Location: Airside – International Departures. After Security Checks, the lounge is located near Gate 1.

Food at Plaza Premium Lounge

Food surprised with variety and thought put into each display. There was a cocktail bar serving up liquor, wine, beer and espresso cafe. Dining choices included a couple of soups, salads, noodles and hot entrees.
Amenities at Plaza Premium Lounge

The high ceilings, golden ascents and sheer number of rooms to navigate. Under the main entry hall there are single work cubicles, further back is an expansive wooden library style tables, which lead onto the cafe tables before the drink bar.
There’s also a couple of side rooms, flight reminders and a terrace for soaking in the sun or fresh air. WiFi was fast and limitless in the spaces and accommodations to work. The main seating area for lounging had a beautiful view of the elephant statue in the garden.
