The Coral Executive Lounge is a reliable retreat inside the International Terminal 1 of Bangkok’s Don Mueang International. Its upscale ambiance is noted as soon as you descend the escalator to the lounge.
On a flight from Bangkok DMK to Siem Reap AWK, I had the pleasure of stopping by The Coral Executive Lounge. Access was complimentary with a Priority Pass Select card. It got two of us in for free, turning a 4 hour layover into a soothing day at the airport office.
A few weeks prior we stopped by the Miracle Lounge in Domestic Terminal 2 of DMK on a flight to Phuket. It was a nice lounge and did the trick, but The Coral Executive Lounge was a class up.

The Coral Executive Lounge is easy to find in the International Terminal 1. It’s located right after immigration and security, which is on the 3rd floor. Another relieving note is that it’s open 24 hours, so you’ll always have a lounge to access on international flights from Don Mueang Airport.

Food at The Coral Executive Lounge
The dining options at The Coral are fairly good. They have a number of hot meals, soups, desserts, as well as individually portioned Italian pasta dishes, among other fare. The full bar serves up cocktails, lattes, beer and wine. There are also the usually beer, soda and water.
Amenities at The Coral Executive Lounge
The seating choices at The Coral are extensive. From long community work desks, to sofas and padded chairs, the selection is ample for the large crowd that the International Terminal 1 accommodates. There was a by-donation masseuse walking around, but she so busy I didn’t get a chance to use her services. Others did and I think the average tip was around 100 baht for 15 minutes.
The Wifi was quick relative for a southeast Asian airport airport. I didn’t notice other business related amenities, aside from the work desks.
